Real Life Portraits are portrait sessions away from the usual studio setting. I find that children especially are more relaxed and natural in natural settings. We can hold the session in your own back garden, at the beach, a location dear to your heart - anywhere really. As an uncle to 6 and a Godfather to 3 children I seem to have a natural understanding of children's moods and concerns. This helps me to get them to enjoy the shoot, which means that you will get beautiful photographs of your family.

Sessions take between 1 - 2 hours depending on location. I will then arrange a convenient time to come back, usually a week later, to show you the proofs from the day so that you can decide which images you would like to keep.

Real Life Portrait sessions are designed to be fun for everyone (yes, even for me), so children are encouraged to play and be themselves. After all, that is what you'd like to remember, isn't it?
